I love looking through fashion magazines and was inspired to take macro fashion photos myself. I really enjoy the detail in clothing and accessories. Once I started taking images it was hard t choose what to not take photos of, there were endless combinations! My favorite piece is the one of the necklace. It was so much fun to photograph that necklace since there was so much diversity to do with it. Overall, I really enjoyed this assignment and would like to continue to take macro photographs more often!

ReplyDeleteI like your unique subject matter: your accessories, clothes, yourself. Some of thes shots are real stunners, I think my fave being the necklace on the doorknob, but careful, macro is ultra close, the first collages photos don't all fit in that category. The vest shots in particular. The second collage shots are all macro, but don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the first collage, just want to clarify that macro is no more than about 6-8" from the subject.

ReplyDeleteNot a problem - the same thing happens on my ipad! Thank you for clarifying the 6-8 inches from the subject, I had a difficult time understand the concept of macro at first but that detail really helps put it all in perspective! I ended up really enjoying this assignment too.

ReplyDeleteSo far the majority of us have chosen to photograph nature so your collages were a great change. I like the close-up photo of your glasses in particular. The way it’s situated really draws your eye to the overall shape of the frame, accents on the frame, and earring. The jewelry hanging from the doorknob was also very detailed. It looked like an advertisement you’d see in a magazine.

These are really neat photos. I would've never thought to take pictures like this. these photos all go nicely in this collage I particularly like the mouth picture! I think it adds a different type of character to this collage. Nice job! Stacy
